Cocksfoot 1991-2003

This report summarises dry matter yield data from nine replicated trials conducted in Canterbury.

Background

The New Zealand National Forage Variety Trial (NFVT) system was set up by the New Zealand Plant Breeding and Research Association Inc. (NZPBRA), a society established to promote plant breeding and research in New Zealand.

Trials commenced in 1991 and continue to date with approximately 40 active trials in the ground in at any one time.
